George Washington's Lord

Lord Cornwallis who surrendered to Washington at Yorktown in 1781
Whether it was boastful or playful we will never know, but George Washington had a greyhound that he named Lord Cornwallis.


  1. If it was boastful it probably backfired on him. I imagine he spent a lot of time being cross that Lord Corwallis had peed on the rug again.

  2. I wonder if when the greyhound was bad, Washington called the French navy to discipline it.
